Dr. Maria Victoria “Vicky” Espaldon, is a professor at the University of the Philippines, Los Baños School of Environmental Science and Management. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at UPLB, and earned a PhD in Geography (Rural Resource Assessment and Environmental Analysis) from the University of Guelph, in Ontario, Canada. She was the former Dean of the School of Environmental Science and Management at UPLB. She is an expert in climate change adaptation and leads Project SARAI: Smarter Approaches to Reinvigorate Agriculture as an Industry in the Philippines, with the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD).
