Dainty Rabang is a Geoscientist and Chief of the Climate-Resilient Development Section at the Palawan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. Some of her work involves analyzing geohazard maps and developing plans to improve community resilience. She topped her BS Geology class at the University of the Philippines and was the topnotcher of her year’s Geologist Licensure Examination. She then earned her Master’s from, and taught at the University of the Philippines. You may have seen her on “Pinoy Scientists.”
