Arnel Salvador, PhD

Arnel Salvador is a Professor of Physics at the Natonal Institute of Physics, UP Diliman. He  took his undergraduate physics degree at UP Diliman, and received his PhD in Physics degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 1997 he returned to UP Diliman and set up a laboratory working on III-V semiconductor devices. As of 2024, the laboratory has produced over 20 PhD ‘s and over 50 MS graduates. In 2018 he was elected to the Natonal Academy of Science and Technology of the Philippines.
